An overview of the classes

Beginners - 7.20-8.00pm
Those of you who have owned your dog from a puppy will be aware of how important it is to start educating your dog from a young age. Before your puppy settles in to a new environment and starts setting the ground rules, it is vital to provide him or her with an interesting and educational learning programme. This can set the foundations for the future and help you live a happy life with your new family member.
To note - This class is not just for puppies, we like to start all new dogs in this class to assess their level of obedience, if the beginners class is not suited to their abilities they will be moved to a more appropriate class once assessed.

Intermediate - 8.00-8.40pm
This class is for working towards the Bronze & Silver awards.
The Bronze award aims to provide the handlers with a basic knowledge of understanding and training their canine companion and the Silver Award aims to build upon these skills whilst increasing the level of difficulty.

Advanced - 8.40-9.20pm
This class is for dogs who have passed their Silver Test and whose owners would like to further their training onto their Gold awards.
The Kennel Club Good Citizen Gold Award is the highest level of good citizenship and builds upon the skills learned in the Bronze & Silver Awards.
The Gold Award is a natural progression of practical dog training skills and introduces new concepts such as relaxed isolation, stop the dog and send the dog to bed exercises, which are important in everyday life situations. The Gold Award aims to provide handlers with a greater knowledge of understanding their canine companion.
